1 Al Fayrooz Lounge
Did you know it was Anna, 7th Duchess of Bedford who first indulged in afternoon tea? It was the early 1800s in England and she found herself hungry between the two main meals of the day, breakfast and dinner. So she scheduled afternoon tea and snacks, her posh friends joined her and word of the new trend soon spread! We reckon she’d approve of scoffing scones while overlooking the winding waterways and gardens of Al Qasr.
